CPCS Dumper A09 & Roller A31
Plant Training – CPCS Dumper (A09) & Roller (A31)
The CPCS Dumper Course gives the opportunity for plant operators and drivers to attend the relevant training in order to hold a operators ticket. With this ticket they will be able to work on site. It is likely that the plant operator’s card will soon be compulsory. The training is designed for those who want to work on site and operate a dumper and roller. CPCS advise to obtain one in the near future.
Novice operators who need a full novice course or experienced operators requiring a one day practical and theory test. Experienced operators need only undertake the Technical Test (theory and practical elements). However familiarisation training is recommended.
CPCS Red Card Package is for an operator who already has experience with the machine. The tutor will refresh the delegates knowledge throughout the course.
The intermediate and novice courses would be suitable for those who need to gain further knowledge rather than refreshed knowledge.
Delegates need to have a current Health and Safety test pass and it must have been attended in the last two years. Once this is completed the delegate then can sit the practical and theory test. The delegate will first of all have a one to one discussion with a tester and have to attain a mark of approximately 80%.
A typical novice A09 dumper course would include both theoretical and practical training. Such as developing skills and knowledge associated with the dumper, site safety awareness and health and safety procedures. Control competence, operating procedures and safety checks whilst unladen and laden and loading and unloading.
