The Role – Trainer
We are looking to appoint a Trainer to join our expanding delivery team covering the Doncaster, Leeds, Sheffield and Hull training venues.
Reporting to the Quality Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of various accredited and non-accredited Health and Safety training courses to the highest possible standard
- Delivering all course content in line with the accrediting bodies lesson plan/syllabus/rules and any HSE guidance
- Maintaining accurate and up to date course knowledge
- Delivering engaging and understandable courses for all delegates
- Developing new training presentations and materials ensuring all are high quality and follow 3B brand guidelines
- Meeting and greeting delegates and ensuring they are signed-in correctly
- Invigilating exams
- Checking paperwork has been completed correctly by all delegates before the end of the course
- Ensuring feedback forms are completed and collected on the final day of the course and returned in line with the course return process.
- Correctly marking exam papers and delivering results to delegates
- Processing course paperwork in a timely manner
- Understand all 3B courses and be confident advising clients when required
- To lead or assist in companywide 3B projects in line with company requirements
- Attend client meetings/pitches with the sales team as required
- Reporting immediately any genuine complaints to the relevant training centre for investigation and attention
The Person – Trainer
It is essential that you have:-
- Minimum of 3 years working in a construction environment at a site management level
- The full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to travel
- Experience of delivering training to groups of delegates
- Good Health and Safety Knowledge
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise own workload
- Excellent communication skills
It is desirable that you have:-
- NEBOSH construction certificate
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) or equivalent
- Assessor qualification – A1 or similar
The Pay – Trainer
In reward for your skills and experience, you will be offered a competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience) plus 28 days holiday (including public holidays). The hours of work are Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch.
