We deliver the Low Risk Confined Space course over one day of training. Whereas, we deliver the Medium Risk Confined Space course over two days of training.
We offer Medium Risk as a public course available to book online, which costs £385 per delegate.
For in-house Low, Medium or High Risk Confined Space training, complete our enquiry form for a quote. We quote each enquiry on a case by case basis depending on location and number of delegates.
CITB registered companies can claim £30 for each delegate who completes the Low and Medium Risk Confined Space courses.
The certificates for each of the Confined Space training courses expire after 3 years.
Under the Confined Space Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act, there is a requirement to ensure that those carrying out the planned work activities are competent and trained. Completing the relevant training helps to reduce the risk of fatalities and injuries occurring.
If you have completed the relevant training, but you feel your competency or understanding has reduced before the three years your certificate expires in, you should get refresher training beforehand.
It’s an enclosed or largely enclosed space, that also has a reasonably foreseeable risk to workers. Such as explosion, asphyxiation, loss of consciousness, drowning or fire.
For example, it could be a large grain storage silo that has hundreds of cubic metre capacity, or it could be a restrictive and small space.
Yes! We offer confined spaces training courses in-house at a location of your choice. We can arrange these for a maximum of 10 delegates.
