Although this funding route is no longer available, our team has built up a wealth of experience submitting applications since they were introduced in 2018.
What would happen is that you, as the employer, would outline your training plan for the next 12 months. We then helped you by providing lists of available grant claimable courses and any additional supporting information you needed to complete your application.
This funding route may have ended, but we’re here to support you with other funding options.
When this funding route was open, once you applied for funding, the CITB team assessed your application, which would take around four weeks for them to make their decision.
When this funding route was available, CITB may have declined your funding request due to:
• You asked for funding for a course that doesn’t relate to construction. • Your application didn’t contain the required information. • You hadn’t submitted a Levy Return. • You were behind on Levy payments.
This means you can claim grant against our eligible courses and we can help you with your training fund bids.
