This in-depth four-day course is provided as part of a pilot scheme in conjunction with CITB.
Each day of the course is being developed in line with the following CITB training standards:
The pilot is running over 12 months, with course dates available from February 2026. These courses are FREE to attend, but there is a limited number of places available.
The Rainscreen Façade Systems Installer course will provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to correctly cut and adjust rainscreen panels prior to fitting, such as vapour barriers/breather membranes and insultation.
The course will enhance the delegate’s skills to ensure quality assurance processes and compliance are adhered to when installing rainscreen panels.
The course involves classroom and practical training.
If you don’t pass your assessment, you will be able to re-sit this once on the day of the course.

Course dates are now available to book, with courses starting from February 2026. You can find our public courses available in multiple locations such as Manchester, Glasgow, Blackburn and etc.
We are also able to arrange this as an in-house training course.
This option is ideal for companies that have a large group of delegates who need to be trained all at once.

The Rainscreen Cladding Installer course is delivered over 4-days.
Yes, delegates will need to attend all four days of the training.
There are no delegate pre-requisites as part of this training. However, a basic knowledge of rainscreen façade systems, terminology and techniques would be beneficial.
For the successful completion of the course, delegates must complete four multiple-choice assessments with a minimum pass mark of 80%, in addition to an ongoing practical assessment.
Certificates will be issued 6-8 weeks after course completion.
The Rainscreen Cladding Installer certificate is valid for 5 years after completion. After which, you will need to renew your training.
Assessments are only available in English.
