SSIP

Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is a UK-wide initiative designed to reduce duplication in health and safety prequalification. It achieves this by facilitating mutual recognition between the various health and safety assessment schemes in the UK.

SSIP accreditation demonstrates that 3B’s health and safety management systems meet the HSE-backed SSIP Core Criteria, ensuring compliance and high standards. This certification reduces risk for clients by allowing them to engage with a business which has already met rigorous safety requirements. Over 84,000 suppliers are now registered with SSIP, showing its widespread industry impact.
