How do I get a CSCS Gold card?

The Gold Supervisory CSCS card is available to those who work in a technical or supervisor occupation. Therefore the delegate will need to complete a Construction Related Technical/Supervisory NVQ at Level 3 or 4.

What qualifications do you need for a Gold CSCS card?

NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision

This qualification is for experienced operatives, gangers or foremen in their skilled trade. Their role will involve supervising a group of construction operatives. The NVQ could lead to further development as a construction supervisor or manager.

This qualification is for Supervisors and Assistant Managers within the construction sector. The NVQ can lead to further development as a manager or supervisor in a specialist technical role. Pathways include; highways and maintenance repair, demolition, building and civil engineering, tunnelling, residential development and conservation.
