There are no formal entry requirements for the IOSH Managing Safely® course. We advise that anyone who attends has a good knowledge of the English language.
To pass the course, you will need to understand the tutor and the course content fully.
For the Remote Learning course
You must have access to a computer or laptop. The device must have a screen, microphone and webcam. Without the above devices, you will not be able to interact with delegates and tutor properly, affecting your ability to pass the qualification.

How is this IOSH Managing Safely course delivered?
This course is delivered in the classroom, via eLearning or by Online / Remote Learning.
Public Classroom Courses
This course is delivered in a classroom by an approved tutor to a group of up to 10 delegates.

Remote Learning
Remote learning eliminates the need for delegates to travel to attend the course in a classroom. It is delivered online in a virtual classroom through video conferencing software. To access the course, all that delegates need to do is log in using a camera and microphone device.
Like the classroom format, the course is delivered by an approved tutor to a group of up to 20 delegates. The course content is the same as the classroom based course, and delegates will still be able to interact with the tutor and other attendees through their microphone or the chatbox. All course materials are accessible in PDF format, and the exam is completed electronically.

Upon booking the IOSH Managing Safely® eLearning course, the delegate will receive their login details. These details will allow them to access the course at any time. The delegate has six months to complete the course before the license expires.
