To complete the course, you will need to get 72% or above in the final exam. The trainer will encourage you to be interactive and involved throughout the training.

Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher Entry Requirements
Firstly, you would need to bring a copy of your in-date Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course certificate to attend the course.
You must have an understanding of spoken and written English to attend this course. This is a requirement by CITB and vital when working on a UK site, especially if you need to conduct the 4C’s properly.
We also suggest that the attendee has a decent background knowledge of temporary works.
You will need photographic ID and national insurance number on the first day of the course. To issue a qualification, we need to ensure that the correct person is attending the course.
To attend the online learning course, you must have access to a computer or laptop that uses a microphone and webcam. To interact with the tutor and those attending, you must be easily seen and heard throughout.
The rules also require you to be seen by the invigilator whilst completing the exam.
Is this course accredited?
Yes, this course is CITB accredited and part of their suite of Site Safety Plus courses.
On successful completion of the training, you will receive a certificate in 6-8 weeks, which is valid for 5 years.
Where can I complete this course?
Online Learning
This course is hosted in an online virtual classroom using Zoom.
To access the course, delegates must join the course using the link provided. However, they will need a computer or laptop with a screen, camera, microphone and access to the internet to attend this course online. The final exam is completed online.
We have multiple dates for the remote learning course available to book online or over the phone.
In-house Courses
We can also organise this course to be delivered on an in-house basis. We can deliver in-house courses in either the classroom, remote learning or in a venue of your choosing.
CITB scheme rules require a minimum of 4 delegates and no more than 12 delegates. Bear this in mind when enquiring about in-house training.

What does a Temporary Works Coordinator do?
The temporary works coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the contractor’s procedures for the control of temporary works are implemented on site. The temporary works coordinator is not normally the designer, but is responsible for ensuring that a suitable temporary works design is prepared, checked and implemented on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.
How long is a Temporary Works Coordinator certificate valid for?
The certificate is valid for 5 years and can only be renewed by attending the course again.
