IPAF 3a and 3b

IPAF 3a and 3b course trains delegates on how to operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).

Workers who operate MEWPs within their role, and individuals that supervise or manage the use of powered access will benefit from this MEWP training.

Why Take the IPAF 3a and 3b Training Course?

This training course will instruct a MEWP operator how to safely operate various types of MEWPs and prepare them.

3B Training can deliver courses for a group of your employees in-house at your site or venue of your choice.

We can organise the IPAF 3a and 3b course to be delivered in-house at your site.

You must provide the machines if you want the course delivered on your site, and your site and machines must meet IPAF requirements.

You can decide if you want to do the theory via eLearning and a half day practical session, or do a full day with theory in a classroom and practical.

    How long is the IPAF 3a and 3b training course?

    This IPAF 3a and 3b course is a 1 day course, that covers theory and practical sessions.

  • What are the entry requirements for this IPAF 3a and 3b course?

    It is important that you are in good health and physically fit. Also, you should not have any problems with:

    • Hearing or eyesight
    • Heart disease and high blood pressure
    • Fear of heights and Vertigo
  • Is the IPAF 3a and 3b training course accredited?

    This course is accredited by IPAF.

    You will qualify for a Powered Access License (PAL Card) if you successfully pass the course. This card will be valid for five years.

    You can access your PAL card via ePAL, which is IPAF’s free mobile phone app.

  • Can I book IPAF 3a 3b and 1b courses together as an in-house course?

    Depending on the number of delegates, you can book the IPAF 1b, 3a and 3b training as an in-house course at your site.
