The CAT and Genny certificate is valid for three years. Delegates will need to resit the course to renew their certificate.
CAT and Genny consists of two separate tools, Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) and Signal Generator (Genny).
The Cable Avoidance Tool is used to locate underground cables and pipes; while the Signal Generator tool emits a specific signal that is detected by the CAT.
